How to Find Us

Sasaab Lodge is located in Northern Kenya – in the heart of the Northern Frontier District. Sasaab is built on Ngutuk-Ongiron Group Ranch which is west of Samburu Game Reserve.

Access by air:

Scheduled Flights

There are two airlines which fly daily to Buffalo Springs, Samburu

• Safari Link (www.safarilink-kenya.com) and Air Kenya (www.airkenya.com)
• The flight is one hour. Sasaab lodge is approximately one and a half hours drive through Buffalo Springs and Samburu Game Reserves.

Private Charters into Sasaab airstrip

We have our own airstrip for those who wish to charter planes.

There are several private air charter companies that will fly directly into Sasaab allowing you to plan a completely flexible itinerary. These charters have many different aircraft that can accommodate group sizes of 2 up to 12.

By Road

Sasaab is a seven hour drive from Nairobi, across the Equator and past Mount Kenya, into the Northern Frontier District. The last two hours of the drive is through the Buffalo Springs and Samburu National Reserves.
